FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Citrix (Nasdaq: CTXS) announced the completion of its acquisition of Ardence and its plans for integrating the combined operations.

Citrix will continue to sell Ardence products under existing brand names and through existing partnerships and reseller alliances.  Ardence product groups will continue to be based in Waltham, MA.

Citrix indicated it will initially apply the Ardence technology to desktop delivery over network applications, which is especially helpful during usage spikes and other short term provisioning needs.
